Mahesh has been in love with Uma since many years now, his friend Suraj who is a Casanova knows about this. Though Mahesh and Suraj are good friends they have very different values. Suraj is known for sleeping around with every other girl in the village whereas Mahesh has been madly in love with Uma but has never confessed his feelings for her. One day Mahesh comes to know Uma has got a proposal and is shocked to find out that the proposal is from Suraj and his sister too commits suicide due to heart break. Mahesh struggles to deal with his emotions and wants to tell the truth to Uma about Suraj's character and his love for her.
