Shaurya, Harvard University graduate, comes to India to lead a peaceful life of a teacher. One chance meeting with Netra, an MP's daughter, turns into friendship and love blossoms between them. But Netra's father staunchly opposes their union and the couple is forced to elope. They head to Kotilingala and stay overnight at a temple. But late in the night, Netra's throat is slit and in the morning, police arrest Shaurya for attempting murder and throw him into jail. Did he really commit the crime? The truth is much more complex and thrilling.
